I used to use a labeling system for each version using V X.X TYPE, with type being the stage of development, and x being the version number. Now I use NB.X.X, N Being the stage of development, B being the year, and X being the version number.
About the game so people online can find this info:
There is a round system that goes from easy to hard that increases over each round. Every 10 rounds there is a boss. Each enemy has a 15% chance to drop a card that flies towards you and gives you 3 options to choose from. There are 3 types of cards- common, uncommon, and weapon. Weapon has a 10% chance, uncommon has a 30% chance, and common has a 60% chance. Weapon adds another weapon to your gun, uncommon gives a huge buff and a minor debuff, and common gives a minor buff.
You fight robots to the death in an arena designed to kill you.
Plans: There will be a shop of cards that you can buy to build your deck, and that's kind of how you upgrade little by little each time. There will be a boss type for each normal enemy, and I am going to make a cap for how many enemies can be alive and make them harder to make it so players can last longer... and so can their pc's lol
I optimized this a lot, and it runs better than any game I have made before, even on fast settings it can run on integrated graphics.
I am currently working on the game, so if you could, please join the discord!

My 2 things)
if choices are you're power they should be cool like Megabonk totems, not basic weapon upgrades
bomb blitz i liked more solley due to it's color and pop I'm sure you'll add this later but still
nonetheless cool game!
Hey! Thats a cool concept, and I have a very similar plan for more to come. I have plans to make it so in the main menu, you can buy cards to add to the more basic ones. I hope to have 50 base cards with their uncommon counterparts than more then just the 6 i have right now, thanks for your feedback though!
EDIT:
TBH, I have been quite tired from programming so i haven't really had the time to implement a main menu, but now that I see this i will put more attention to it. Thanks!
